Are you aged 16 -24 and interested in applying for a grant of up to £1,000 to support your career development? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Here at Caroline’s Pathfinders we believe that every young person has the right to a career that they truly love. We stand for diversity, equality and inclusion.

If you are interested in applying for a grant, please read this page in full as it contains lots of important information. If you have any further questions, please read our FAQs here or get in touch with us via our contact form.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

The application process contains three stages. Information related to these stages has been detailed out below.

  • Stage one: The first stage of the process will require you to complete a short form. This form includes your contact information and a few short questions regarding the grant you are applying for. You will not be judged on your writing skills in this section, we simply want to understand how much you’re applying for and how the money will help you. You can start stage one at the bottom of this page.

  • Stage two: If you are successful in stage one, you will be contacted by the Caroline’s Pathfinders team to complete stage two. The second stage of the application process is the creative application. We understand that not everyone works in the same way, and for this reason the second stage of the process is over to you! We’ll be asking you to showcase your ambitions and reasons for needing the grant in whatever way you choose. This might be in the form of a video, a presentation, a piece of art or a written application - the possibilities are endless! More information on this will be sent out to all successful second stage applicants, including details of how to submit.

  • Stage three: The final stage in the grant application process will be a short interview with the Caroline’s Pathfinders team. This is likely to be done virtually, and more information will be provided to successful candidates prior to the interview.

Following the interviews , all applicants will be contacted within three weeks to let them know if they have been successful or not. (Please note, the three weeks will start upon the receipt of the references and ID. Find out more below).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • We will require 2 referees to support your application. They can be anyone other than your family (e.g. teachers, youth workers, sports coaches etc…).

  • We will also ask for two forms of ID in the final stage of the application process.
